Blogger Screencast Assignment
On the Blogger Screencast Assignment I think I did very well, and I thought I had organized it, and tried to do it to the best of my ability. I think making the introduction and and ending was easy, also recording. But what I thought was difficult was not trying to move my mouse. Therefore I think that I could use this in the future such as for youtube, and for schoolwork.

Digital Story Bucketlist
I could use this format in other classes that involve projects, that you need a presentation in, and it would be very unique, and might impress the teacher with the oraganization. I enjoyed making the digital Story the most and putting it together. What I thoughy was difficult was recording in front of all of your classmates. I can see myself doing this again for like another project, but not for personal use. Overall, the project was enjoyable in the way that I could figure out my bucketlist, and make it. I think now that I have a good start on my bucketlist, and am happy about that.

Trimester Reflection
Reflection Post
In this trimester for Online Experience A I had an enjoyable time to use the computers and to learn all sorts of information. I believe that we are required to take this class because the World is revolutionizing, and we need the computer skills to function in our jobs, and everyday life, same as with the state they want to prepare us for the real world.
Technology is very important because it is everywhere, and it is the direction that the world is turning to, and we need to know how to use it. It is the innovation to come and we need to be able to use it to create upcoming innovations. Technology has changed over the years drastically from going to just normal 720hp TVs to 1080hp TVs, and to 3d TVs. Also, we have come out with all touch screen technology, such as IPod touches, and IPods, overall we have changed from just normal regular technology to touch screen and voice activation systems in cars. Also, I think technology will change in the next five years drastically because more and more people will continue to innovate, and to correct what we already have.
The type of technology that we use in school are computers, sometimes Phones, calculators, etc. We can use all sorts of technology depending on the situation. The type of technology that I use personally are a Phone, computer, PS3, TVs, etc. Lastly, we use all sorts of Technology wherever we are at.
I think I will use lots of the tools that I learned in Online Experience A for example Podcasting if I want to create a YouTube Channel, also, common sense that we learned about Internet Safety. We can use Internet Safety in our everyday life by applying Online safety to use surfing the web everyday. Also, if I want to favorite something now I can tag it in Delicious because it is a lot safer to use and to account for the things that we save, also, it is an organizing tool for us. I think Internet Safety will be the most practical for lifelong learning. I think I will never use creating Avatars again because that just doesn’t seem practical or something I will need. My favorite tools to create was to create my igoogle, I think that was really fun. My least favorite would be to do the podcasts because it just felt weird talking into the microphone, with everyone watching you.
Overall, it was a fun class and I learned quite a lot.

Cyber Bully Video
I thought that the movie was very good, and was very realistic. It was based on a true story which is always a plus, and it was a great movie that porttrayed what a cyber bully does. What happened in the movie and what happened what we talked about in class is that they both talked about the laws of cyber bullying, and the effects of the person being bullied. Some differences were that the two people were friends and one bullied the other. Also, one was reality. Yes this case was similar to the ones in class because the bullying got so bad that she almost killed herself.

Podcast On Kentucky Fans Storming the Court
Basically when the Kentucky Wildcats Stormed the Court and People are debating if that is right or Not. The guys join host Matt Norlander to discuss Kentucky and its apparanet inevitable date with the Final Four. The comeback win at Mississippi State was ho-hum, and that's why the Cats look nearly unbeatable right now. In addition to UK talk, what about Jim Calhoun at UConn? Should/will he coach in the huge home game against Syracuse Saturday? And what's the program going to be when he leaves, whether that's this spring, next year or five years from now? The trio also squeezes in their opinions on rushing the floor and why it's OK. Then there's the story about Goodman hanging from a goal post. This is pretty much a mandatory listen today.
Not I did not really like learning this way, because I prefer to be a Visual Learner. Some people opt to create podcast instead of text because they prefer to hear things when they learn. I do think it is opinion based because it's his opinion on it overall.

Blabberizer, and Voki
Voki, and Blabberizer are two great educational websites for creating avatars, of yourself, and of people you like. I think that Voki is easier to use because there is a lot more options, to create your avatar, and it's just easier to navigate. I liked Blabberizer the best, because it is more fun to customize the characters mouth, and you can use images of real people. I would use Blabberizer again, and I could use this again maybe for student leadership, or Health class representing a smokers voice, or looks.

This article is about how Twitter is breaking big news such as the Whitney Houston Story, and how it is revolutionizing news as we See it today. Fro example, when Whitney died twitter was the first place to have confirmed it, and have reported it.The source: The niece of Houston's hairstylist, who also knew the circumstances of the singer's death hours prior to news outlets. A second Twitter user with the handle @chilemasgrande reported the story almost thirty minutes before the Associated Press. There's reason to believe that Twitter and Facebook users in their new roles as the distributors of news on the web are becoming cautious about sharing news with their friends without personally verifying it. Also, this is the same thing that happened with Paternos situation to. Overall, the social arise of twitter is changing the way we find information today through different sources.

Online Safety Wrap-Up
What I think the most important aspects of Online Safety is that overall use COMMON SENSE. You should never post innappropriate pictures of yourself, or do anything wrong on the internet, because it will come back and get you sometime.
Online Safety is using proper netiquette while online while using common sense, Som Rules are:
I will not give out personal information such as my address, telephone number, parents’ work address/telephone number, or the name and location of my school without my parents’ permission.*
2. I will tell my parents right away if I come across any information that makes me feel uncomfortable.
3. I will never agree to get together with someone I “meet” online without first checking with my parents. If my parents agree to the meeting, I will be sure that it is in a public place and bring a parent along.
Next, They should look for bad posts, and just to see if that site is appropriate. Should always be safe and use common sense on the internet.

Some dangers of using the internet, is that there are creepy people on the internet, also, there is a lot of dangerous material on the internet, so be careful etc. You should practice proper netiquette when on the internet because it is the proper way to say things and be curtious to other people. People, could always steal your social security and then get a credit card on that, and could destroy your credit.

You Can't Take It Back
Someone had made a website about the girls at school, and some guys went on a website and pretended to rape them. And this boy commented on it, and he went to school the next day, and everyone was laughing about that except the girls who were on it. His sister was actually on it and when he got home his sister didn't talk to him at all. He wished he had never done that, and if he could take it back he would. Now he might have to move to another school, because of something he did that he thought was funny. So overall, use COMMON SENSE, and be safe in the Internet.
Teresa Post
Teresa gave out information, that she likes basketball, and likes hanging out with friends. She is a teenager, she has a Brother named Billy jr, and she has a valid email account. Female Teen
Bo I have not put much personal information on the Internet, because it is not good, and people can find you. Overall, it is just not good to put information on the internet.
The most important thing to remember when using the internet, is be safe, and use common sense.

Netiquette
Netiquette is a set of rules for behaving properly online, and using the correct techniques while being online for supporting good ethic values.
Netiquette affects the people around you, and it affects your personality and what people think about you.
Some examples of good netiquette would be, to be nice to people and stay positive. Also, to write post with good grammar.
Some poor examples of netiquette is that don’t flame someone, or don’t write in all capital letters, or use slang when formally talking to someone. Also, spell words correctly especially when talking to someone important.

How does Social Networking affect Digital Footprint.
Digital Footprinting affects social networking because it traces, and stores data that you have put on your social network. So when you try and find a job the employer can look up data that was on your facebook, by using websites like archive. It affects a lot.

Copyright
Copyright
An Mp3 file has been available for about 7 years now, and is being abused. Copyright which is the topic of the situation is the main purpose of this article. Copyright is a form of protection given to authors or creators of their original work. Downloading music for your personal use is okay, however if you make separate mp3 files, or burn cds and distribute them to your peers that is illegal. Even if you sell it to your friends and it is still illegal, and is not permitable, because you are breaking the copyright law. The creator, of that song has to get credit. Some artists allow their songs to be downloaded from their websites, often as a short preview or a low quality sampling. Others have embedded services in their sites that allow purchases of their singles or albums, as demonstrated by Metallica's official website. Even if there is no copyright symbol, it still may be copyrighted because it was the person’s original work. So be careful, and always think the situation through about giving someone a free cd download, from your music. It is illegal for anyone to do any of copyrighting listed such as copyrighting Music, Movies, etc. with a work created by someone else without their permission. Copyrighting applies to anything that establishes someone else’s work without their consent, or buying the rights to that work. Copyright infringement is when someone exploits any of the exclusive rights of copyright without the copyright owner’s permission. If you are charged with this you may have to pay penalties, or even go to jail. Also, the infringer must stop using that work, and if they don’t then they’re in the same situation all over again. Fair use is when you are allowed to use a work for example if you use it for educational purposes, and criticism, or parody. Torrent file sharing is another common method of peer-to-peer transfers. There is much controversy relating to file sharing due to copyright restrictions that apply to recorded media. The U.S. Code protects copyright owners from the unauthorized reproduction, adaptation or distribution of sound recordings, as well as certain digital performances to the public. For an alternative to a website such as limewire use iTunes, as it is a safe legal website. Overall, copyright is a big topic, nowadays, and it is a big situation to deal with, so follow the law.Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Dish Network Vs FCC Copyright Case
Network VsFcc
Summary: Direct broadcast satellite provider was not likely to succeed on a claim that an amendment to 47 U.S.C.S. 338 violated the First Amendment; the amendment, which accelerated the timetable for high-definition programming for noncommercial educational television stations, was content-neutral and likely to survive intermediate scrutiny. Basically Dish Network used high defintion programming for noncommercial educational television stations. That violated the First Ammendment.
What Type of Work: The type of work it was, was a film, and the film violated 1st amendment.
What were the results of the case- Dish Network won the Case, however they were warned not to do that again

New Zealand Country Project
My favorite part about the project was that I got too learn about a new country, and thier different cultures, and travel destinations. Next, I really didnt have a least favorite part about the project. Yes I learned about something knew about my country. Some strong points in my persentation I think were that I presented lots of information, and I thought my fonts and colors were good. Last, what I would reccomend for a future research project is too research States in the U.S. or Famous Citys. Last, Trinity Jans presentation was great, Austin Weitzel's was also, good, last Allie Petes was good.

New Year And Looking Back at 2011
My highlight of 2011, would have to be going to Disneyworld, over Easter break, and getting a tan while I was there. My low point would have to be when my friend, rode his bike down a hill, and fractured his skull. Overall, going to Disneyworld, would hae to be the best moment, it is just so fun. My goals for 2012, would have to be, to work out at the YMCA, a lot, and to stay away from Video Games. Also, to make the golf team this year, and to play tennis. If I were given 100,000 dollars to start the new year, I would put it in the Bank, and save it when I need it, and spend it on things I need. I probably spend it on video games, or new golf clubs, or a Camaro.
